About the Character: Marcus has been a project manager at Phillips Construction for the last ten years. He is constantly seeking opportunities to advance his career. Marcus made the decision to move his family out of Wellsville for a better life and school system for his children. Unfortunately, that lifestyle has put him and his family in a financial bind. Now, he has to find a quick resolution.
About the Actor: Essex began his professional career in voice acting and performing as a seasonal actor at the Walt Disney World Epcot. He has continued to develop his craft through local, and national projects appearing in (15) films, (5) stage plays including the play, “Ruined” (based on the Pulitzer prize winning script by Lynn Nottage), (7) commercials and 2 web series. When he’s not on camera or stage Essex loves spending time with his wife of 12 years Joni and 8 year old son Essex II (Lil E) who excels in soccer and basketball.
White Marcus has been a Senior Project Manager at Phillips Construction for the last five years. He graduated from an Ivy League university with a Master’s degree in liberal arts. He is of German-American descent and his good looks, charm and connections landed him a job at Phillips Construction. Marcus has always lived the good life and so has his family. He believes that everyone has equal opportunity, they just have to know how to take advantage of it.
