Julie Walsh
Julie Alexandra Walsh

Julie Alexandra Walsh is a BA student in the Nicholson School of Communication and Media at the University of Central Florida. She writes, directs and produces short films and was the producer for Waking Up White. Upon graduating, she seeks to create her own film production company where she can produce her own films and follow her dreams.

Executive Producers

JOANNA WHITE-OLDHAM

Joanna White-Oldham is an Producer/Director from Brooklyn, New York. She is currently co-producing a short film called The Company You Keep and her micro-documentary, Making Ensete, is making rounds in the festival circuit. Joanna is also a Content Development Executive for 13Brains, in collaboration with television production veteran, Scott Sternberg. Joanna is extremely interested in developing short form content with compelling female characters and interactive VR content.

Jason Muir

Jason Muir is a native of Long Island New York, He grew up in the Town of Hempstead and Graduated from Uniondale High School. Uniondale is home to other Hollywood Stars such as Sheryl lee Ralph and Susan Kelechi Watson (This is us star).

Upon graduation Jason moved to Norfolk Virginia to attend Old Dominion University. After graduating Jason started in the finance filed with Prudential Insurance and Securities but later switched to the technology and subsequently Med Tech fields. He has worked for Major Health Care companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Medtronic and now currently works for Physio- Control a Division of Stryker Medical. Where he consults hospitals on medical devices to help them improve their cardio-vascular offerings to the patient populations they serve. He is married to his wife Nerissa of 14 years and has two children Nya 13, and Nathaniel 7. He currently resides in Norfolk VA. Where he enjoys his hobbies of Gourmet cooking, Traveling, and Golf on occasion.

Lorenzo Lowell Carswell

Professor Lorenzo Lowell Carswell is a Tampa, Florida native who is an advocate for education and financial literacy, and he is the founder of Carswell Connections Consulting, LLC. Professor Carswell is also a Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach (CEIC) who increases awareness about managing and controlling emotions and the importance of applying emotional intelligence as a practice to enhance not only personal growth but also social growth as both perspectives are essential to building various relationships. He has been faithfully dedicated in the educational arena for the past twenty-four years in the Tampa Bay and Central Florida areas.

In the past four years, Professor Carswell has used his innate talents as a producer and actor to assist in various genres of film productions. He is an executive producer of The Turnaround Movie and Waking Up White and a co-producer of The Season. Carswell played a lead role in the faith-based movie Amen and it is So, and had a role as an extra in The Turnaround Movie.

In addition, he has a major role as an actor, editor, and producer in the upcoming movie entitled, The Life of a Trucker, and has roles in the upcoming movies, Agent X and Looking in the Mirror. Carswell is presently working on more film projects as a way to connecting the community to the performing arts industry.
